The redraw is called just to update the mouse position in the Status bar. Take a basic WWJ app and without zooming, panning, etc. And if so, optimize it.Open up the task manager and watch the CPU usage!Įven the on screen display of the frame rate (redraw) may change so fast it doesn't tell you much. If you're drawing custom stuff you should first find out if that stuff is the cause of your drop in frame rate. But yeah, you can't force a higher frame rate and unnecessary redrawing accomplishes nothing.
